Ingredients

  • 1 kg apples
  • 600 g ripe nectarines
  • 500 ml water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 small, untreated lemon
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 package of vanilla sugar

Preparation

Peel the apples, slice them in quarters and remove the core, then cut it into small pieces. Then wash the nectarines, cut the pulp in small pieces, then put both – apple and nectarine pieces – in the cooking pot. Wash the lemon and cut it into thick slices. Add water, cinnamon stick and the lemon slices, sugar and vanilla sugar to the cooking pot, boil it about 30 to 35 minutes at middle heat. Stir betimes, the fruits shall get verry mellow. Then take it off the stove and remove the cinnamon stick and the lemon slices. Put the fruits in the mixer and purée them. Than fill the mush in the prepared jars, close them canonical and reduce them for 30 minutes at 90°C.
