Instructions for use

1. general safety instructions:
- Only use glassware for its intended purpose.
- Check glassware for visible damage such as cracks or chips before each use. Damaged glassware should no longer be used.
- Do not allow small children to handle glass products unsupervised to avoid injury from breakage.
2 cleaning and care:
- Wash glassware thoroughly with warm water and a mild detergent before first use.
- Glass products are generally suitable for the dishwasher. Follow the special cleaning instructions on the packaging.
- To avoid scratches and wear, place glass items in the dishwasher so that they do not touch each other.
- Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or sponges to clean glass products, as these can damage the surface.
3. storage/storage:
- To avoid knocking over or falling, store glassware in a safe place.
- To avoid breakage, do not stack the glass products on top of each other.
4. instructions for safe use:
- Avoid abrupt temperature changes, as this can cause stress in the glass and lead to breakage (e.g. pouring hot water into a cold glass).
There is therefore a risk of glass breakage in the event of rapid temperature changes! Allow hot-filled glass items to cool down at room temperature and
use a towel as a base.
- Always touch hot glassware with suitable heat protection.
- Do not fill glassware to the brim to minimise the risk of spillage and possible glass breakage.
- Do not use glassware for hot drinks unless it is specifically labelled as heat-resistant.
5. disposal:
- Note that glassware is produced from different types of glass (e.g. soda-lime glass, borosilicate glass, tempered glass, crystal glass, etc.).
Please contact your local waste disposal company to find out about the appropriate disposal options.
- Dispose of damaged glass properly to avoid injury.
6. additional notes:
- For hand-painted, coated and other decorated glass items, we recommend hand washing only.
- Please do not use aggressive cleaning agents on glass items with special chemical coatings.
